Uit berichten van ThinkSecret en Make The Switch blijkt dat Apple een nieuwe versie van de Mac OS X 10.2.8 update heeft verspreid onder ontwikkelaars. Deze nieuwe seed 6R73 lost een aantal van de problemen op die zich voordeden met de originele 10.2.8 update die recent werd verspreid.

The update also provides updated security services and includes the latest Security Updates. De verspreide versie is bedoeld als update voor Mac OS X 10.2.6. Het is niet duidelijk of Apple een aparte update zal uitbrengen voor mensen die de originele 10.2.8 update (6R65) al hebben draaien.

Hopelijk zal binnenkort dus iedereen alsnog 10.2.8 zonder problemen kunnen gebruiken.
