Het lijkt erop dat Adobe per ongeluk het persbericht van de release van Photoshop CS2 te vroeg online heeft gezet. Op de site van Adobe stond korte tijd het persbericht, gedateerd op 4 april, waarin de release en belangrijkste nieuwe features worden aangekondigd.

FireWire Previews can also be viewed on a television monitor through a new direct export feature.[/textquote] Volgens het persbericht is voor Photoshop CS2 minimaal Mac OS X 10.2.8 vereist en zal het vanaf mei inde VS verkrijgbaar zijn voor US$599 bij een volledige versie en voor US$149 bij een upgrade. Vanaf begin juni volgt daarna Europa. We zijn benieuwd of Adobe dit nieuws inderdaad op 4 april zal bevestigen.

Het persbericht is inmiddels door Adobe van de site verwijderd, maar de tekst is nog wel te vinden in de Google cache.
